Michael Whittaker is the founder and managing director of Corvus Foresight, LLC. An experienced disaster preparedness consultant, he established Corvus to help organizations build resilience and prepare for their most challenging risks, disasters, and threats.

Michael specializes in working with clients of all types and sizes, particularly for facilitating in-person and virtual events focused on preparedness. At the federal level, he has helped implement the FEMA National Exercise Program and National Level Exercises, and led multi-year NOAA outreach projects. Michael has conducted assessments and tabletop exercises at the state, county, and city level, and has led efforts for companies and utilities to enhance their business continuity and exercise programs.

Prior to founding Corvus, Michael served as a Senior Associate at The Cadmus Group. At Cadmus, Michael was the project manager for emergency management, disaster exercise, and resilience projects that examined short, medium, and long-term risks and hazards. He also implemented coaching and mentorship initiatives, focusing on professional development and training. Michael holds a degree in International Politics from Georgetown University, and is certified by FEMA as a Master Exercise Practitioner.
